Our Story

Erik and Michelle met in 2006 while working at Farmers Insurance. Depending on who tells the story, this is either when fate brought them together… or when Michelle “stole” Erik’s job.

What began as coworkers navigating the world of insurance claims turned into friendship, then partnership. Over the years, Erik and Michelle built a life together—starting businesses, raising a family, serving their community, and supporting one another through every adventure life brought their way.

Somewhere along the journey Erik proposed, Michelle said yes… and life kept moving. Businesses were built, a daughter was raised, and the engagement turned into a 10-year story of its own.

Now, after nearly two decades of friendship, hard work and dedication, they’re finally making it official in front of God, family and friends.

Opened The Rock Sports Bar in Downtown Round Rock.

Erik proposed and Michelle said yes.

Opened Alcove Cantina.

Started Reagan Capital.

🍸 July 2019

Opened The Flats in Downtown Round Rock.

🏛️ November 2020

Michelle was elected to Round Rock City Council.

🥃 July 2021

Opened Rock Shot Bar.

🗳️ May 2023

Michelle was re-elected to City Council.

📍 November 2025

Moved The Rock Sports Bar and The Flats to their new home.

✝️ March 2026

Our family was baptized together.
